Payroll Management, Inc. is a Professional Employee Organization that began in 1986. PMI was the sixth PEO to be licensed in the state of Florida.

Today, PMI is a multi-million dollar company with the dedication and commitment of their team of professionals. They have offices located across the Southeast and throughout Florida. Due to PMI's success and growth rate, our corporate headquarters has expanded to a new location. PMI is located on Hwy 98, in the 45,000 sq. ft. building on 7 acres of land, in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.

The company's main focus is still total customer satisfaction. To meet our clients' needs, we are available, in person, 24 hours, seven days a week (except Thanksgiving and Christmas Day), and on our hotline that is available 24 hours, seven days a week for reporting workers' compensation injuries.

We were the first PEO to meet the requirements of being self insured for workers' compensation in the state of Florida. As a requirement of being self insured, the state of Florida required PMI to have re-insurance and excess workers' compensation coverage. For this coverage, we selected AIG, a strong and respected leader in the workers' compensation industry, which has a rating of A+16 by A.M. Best. Mike Bonneau - Vice President

Mike Bonneau - Vice President
Originally from California. Served in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years until retiring in March of 1998. Hired by PMI in June of 1998 in the position of Unemployment Coordinator. Named Director of Human Resources in Dec 1998. Named Director of Operations in April of 2000. Became Vice President of Operations in 2002. Has embraced the change from DAC Easy to Summit and in the past 7 years has reduced staffing in the operations area by nearly 75% from 18 to 5.

Lives in Fort Walton Beach with his wife and four dogs: Solei, Maggie, Louis, and Painter.

Jane Ryerson - Vice President

Jane Ryerson - Vice President

Jane is our Territory Manager in Panama City / Panama City Beach and has over two decades in sales and 16 years in PEO management. As a student at Auburn University, Jane was selected as a Tigerettes, an organization which recruits for the Auburn Football Program. This is where she develped her love for sales and Marketing.

After graduation in 1986, she worked as a Territory Account Executive in Atlanta and Birmingham, then local and National Account sales in the New York Metropolitan area. In 1993 she opened PMI's Panama City office and later, the Panama City Beach office. With 16 years in the PEO industry, she has acquired expertise in all areas of human resource management.

PMI internal employees and customers alike have grown to depend on her honesty, integrity, and knowledge which has earned her a valued reputation in the Panhandle. She lives in Panama City Beach with her husband Jim, and sons, Adam and Evan.


Fred Salter - CFO

Fred Salter - CFO
Fred S. Salter, Jr. serves as the Chief Financial Officer for PMI. Fred has been with PMI for a total of over three years. In his previous career with PMI he was responsible for all of the tax and regulatory aspects of the company.

He earned his Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Business Administration from the University of Alabama in 1986 with a major in Industrial Management. After his discharge from the Army, he worked in various industries, namely banking, retail, medical practice administration, public accounting, casino and hospitality operations, and has taught accounting and economics in a community college setting. During this time, he earned his Master of Accounting degree from the University of South Alabama in 1992. He was licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in 1996, a license which he still maintains.

Fred resides in Brewton, AL with his wife of 25 years, Teresa. They have two children, Ashley and Stephen, and two grandchildren.


Harriet Rock - Customer Relations Manager

Harriet Rock - Customer Relations Manager
Harriet’s tenure with PMI Employee Leasing started on January 3, 2005. She came to PMI with 32 years of prior customer service experience and 12 years of managerial experience in recruiting, interviewing, payroll, benefits, human resources, workers comp, & terminations. She also brings 10 years of facility management experience to the table. When starting her career, her educational courses were taken at Florida Community College at Jacksonville Florida.

Harriet’s versatility allows her to focus on all aspects of training with PMI clients to assure total customer service satisfaction. She has a vast knowledge of all training materials, websites, policies and procedures to assure the client receives all training necessary.

On a personal note, Harriet has three little roommates, named Tink (Jack Russell), Oscar (Reindeer Chihuahua) & Henri (Yorkie), they are loved very much.


Dan Robertson - Sales Manager

Dan Robertson - Sales Manager
Dan Robertson serves as the Sales Manager for PMI. Dan has been with PMI a total of 6 years and has 11 years of PEO experience. He spent 4 years in the US Air Force before going to school for business management at Troy University. Dan is a licensed insurance agent with extensive experience in payroll operations, benefits management, and PEO sales.

Dan’s experience and knowledge of the PEO industry and sales made him an integral part of the team that helped PMI to be twice named as one of Florida Trend Magazine’s Top 200 growing companies.

Dan’s product knowledge, honesty, and integrity with all prospects and clients have made him a well known and respected member of our business community.

Dan lives in Santa Rosa Beach with his wife and their 4 children
